Don’t Litigate, Mediate!

No one likes being in a dispute or a disagreement. It's difficult, frustrating, and can be emotionally draining. However, litigation (going to court) is not always the best way to resolve differences. Another approach is Mediation.

An independent third party helps you come up with a resolution to the situation. You do not have to talk to the other person in the dispute or even be in the same room as them. Mediation is used to resolve all kinds of disputes, from family matters including divorce, to business issues, homeowner association problems, landlord-tenant disagreements, and more.

As a trained mediator Sue has mediated over 150+ cases and has the keen ability to identify the issues, and help facilitate resolution with a settlement rate of over 80%.

She mediates for the Center for Conflict Resolution and is on the Panels of both the LA County and Ventura County Superior Court Panels  as well as on the  LA Bar Association Fee Arbitration Panel.

She is a member of  SCMA (Southern California Mediation Association)

Before becoming a Mediator she worked as a Consumer Advocate in the Attorney General’s Consumer Law Section working with the public and especially the elderly to resolve issues.

She has Advanced Mediation Training along with Elder Mediation Training and has taken classes in Fee Arbitration, Legal & Insurance Terms of Art & Settlement Strategies, Family Law Dispute Resolution and Real Estate Mediation.
